'Tween and teen actors perform and shine. Workshop participants practice character work, voice acting, and stage presence while bringing a beloved picture book to life through their own creative lens. Following the completion of a workshop, actors will have the opportunity to perform for a Story Hour Event and:
Engage audiences with ensemble songs and movement pieces
Lead participants in interactive theatre games
Practice teamwork and communication skills in a supportive environment
Reading With The Rabbits celebrates imagination and inclusion, empowering every performer to find their unique voice on and off the stage.

• Prepare a 2–4 minute poem or monologue, or bring along a favorite children’s book to read
What to Expect
Workshops are energetic, creative, and designed to help readers shine onstage. Participants will:
• Warm up with fun vocal and movement exercises
• Learn an ensemble song with easy choreography
• Play theater games that spark imagination
• Practice public speaking and performance
• Learn to be a supportive, encouraging audience member
